More fluff than curl

More fluff than curl

QUESTION: I have curls and find it difficult to take care of them properly. As a result, my hair is often frizzy. How can I prevent that?

ANSWER: “Curly hair is naturally drier than straight hair. Due to the curly hair structure, natural oils and fats are less well distributed over the entire hair. A good, regular care is therefore a requirement for beautiful curls.

It starts with the wash:a suitable shampoo and conditioner with the right ingredients are indispensable. As far as I can judge now, it looks like your hair is already damaged. As a result, the hairs fall into each other less smoothly and they are more sensitive to external influences, such as humidity.

A high humidity can cause the curly hairs to take on a different shape and then dry in this new pattern. This causes the infamous fluff † It is best to use products that offer special protection against moisture, for example Curl-Power (Guhl), Flexible Curls (Nivea) or Frizz-Ease (John Frieda).”
