Anti-Fluff Policy

Anti-Fluff Policy

QUESTION: My hair is dyed blonde and a while back I also got a perm. I regularly go to the hairdresser, I use a good (volume) shampoo and I style with a hair dryer and mousse. The problem is my hair is so frizzy. What can I do about that?

ANSWER: “Many problems with frizz-prone hair are the result of damaged cuticles :the protective cells on the outside of each hair. Coloring and perming your hair, sunlight and using a blow dryer or other heat stylers can cause this damage

But damp weather and even heredity can also have an influence. With beautiful and well-groomed hair, the protective scales lie evenly and closed against the hair shaft. With frizzy hair, the surface is open and frayed. This makes the hair look dull and easily tangles † In addition, the unprotected hair shaft leads to porosity, which makes the hair dry and brittle.

To prevent fluff as much as possible, it is wise to use a hair mask once a week. to use. Choose a strengthening cream mask that penetrates deep into the hair and specifically cares for damaged areas.

The anti-lint policy already starts in the shower † Start with a nourishing shampoo with anti-linting ingredients. You can recognize it by the cream-like substance. Then you apply a serum to very wet hair, so that it can adhere well. The serum immediately ensures that the hair cuticles are smoothed.

Then towel dry your hair and apply an alcohol-free curl mousse . for beautiful curls which gives bounce to strokes and curls. Examples include John Frieda Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver , Guhl Curl Power and Andrélon Curl Mousse
