Ingrown toenail

Ingrown toenail

An ingrown toenail is painful. It is most common on the big toe, but any nail can grow into it. What do you do about it?

Shoes that are too narrow or narrow, the position of the toe itself or a nail that is cut too short and too round can cause an ingrown toenail. You can do this:Always cut toenails straight and not too short. Make sure your shoes are spacious enough.

Ingrown anyway?
Try massaging down the skin around the nail. In the early stages of an ingrown toenail, a visit to the pedicurist can help. If the ingrown nail causes inflammation, the nail can be temporarily narrowed through an outpatient procedure. In severe cases, the nail can be permanently narrowed or removed.
