"You really didn't see that much in the past," my sister said to me more and more lately. High time to have my eyes measured again and before I knew it I was ordering glasses at Bril.nl
How it started
When I was young, I visited the ophthalmologist for years. I have a lazy eye and mainly see with one eye. Although others sometimes react as if I'm half blind ('Can't you read that?! That's really not good!' ), it turned out to be OK after the eye test. My strengths are only 0.50 and 0.75. The optometrist advised me to try contact lenses. And how nice would it be if I could read ANWB signs on time and read the subtitles in all places on the bank?

Exactly at that moment, Bril.nl came across my path, a website where you can find beautiful frames, including lenses. strength can be ordered for 98 euros. Before you order your glasses, you can order four free trial frames to try out your favorite glasses for a week. My main question:do I have a spectacle head? was answered right away. After uploading my photo, I could virtually fit all the frames on my own head.

One push of a button and a working day later there was a box with four frames from Bril.nl on my mat. When I put the glasses on my nose one by one, it immediately became clear which one was my favorite. Surprisingly, the result matched what I had seen in the virtual glasses fitting room. Although I had already half made my choice, I still asked some people around me for their opinion.
Final verdict
Although I was convinced that I do not have a spectacle head, thanks to Bril.nl I managed to find a first pair of spectacles that fit me well. Without the virtual editor and the fitting of four models at home, this probably would not have been possible. It is especially nice that you have enough time to ask for advice from friends, family and colleagues. So my grandmother is right:there are suitable glasses for everyone.
