1. Protect your skin well from the sun
Sunlight has no positive influence on the rosacea skin in most people. So get used to always applying a factor, even if it doesn't seem to be very sunny.

2. Find out what your triggers are In addition to sun, alcohol and spicy food can also cause extra red skin. Try to discover what makes your skin redder, so you can try to reduce or avoid those triggers.

3. Soothe your skin with aloe vera Couperosis can sometimes make the skin sensitive and painful. Aloe vera does not make blood vessels smaller or disappear, but it can calm and soothe your skin. For example, choose a day or night cream with aloe vera as an ingredient.

4. Make your skin more even with makeup
Sometimes you just want your skin to look a little more even. You can use foundation or CC cream for this, for example. CC stands for Color Correction. Your skin will therefore appear less red. You can also invest in a good concealer, so that you can cover the worst spots with just a little more coverage.

5. Go to the doctor The GP can refer you to a dermatologist or skin doctor for further treatment. By means of IPL or laser technology, the blood vessels can become less noticeable. There is also a cream that temporarily removes the redness. Ask your doctor about the possible treatments against rosacea.
