Facial cleansing, step-by-step plan to be ready in 3 minutes a day

Facial cleansing, I had to learn it, but now it is really part of my daily ritual. As I wrote before, I have not always been careful with my skin. Well, when you're young, everything is possible and nothing is necessary. That's how you feel. Unfortunately, that doesn't last and nowadays there is some work to be done to also look a bit 'slick'. Although I am not by definition of the only perfect pictures, I do think it is important to look well-groomed and fresh. Facial cleansing is an important element for me.

Facial cleansing in 3 minutes

However, I don't want to waste too much time on it. You know it… busy busy busy. Going to bed late at night because of work and chasing your children in the morning. There is not much time left for myself, but with my ritual of facial cleansing you are ready within 3 minutes. Below you will find my step-by-step plan.

The type of cleansing you can best use depends on what suits your skin type. But also what you find comfortable to use.

Type of cleaning product

Tip:If you are not sure what your skin type is, you can use the Bijin Facial cleanser cream. This is not really a cleansing milk, but also not a face wash. It is in between and is therefore suitable for all skin types!

This Facial cleanser is a cleansing cream. Fat dissolves in fat, and water dissolves in water. The natural fats / cream in the Bijin Facial cleanser cream dissolves sebum, dirt and hardened skin (horn). With daily use, the blackheads disappear and a clean skin with small pores appears. In addition, the skin is also deeply nourished and wrinkle formation is prevented. Hallelujah 😉 .

Well, so far so good, but facial cleansing obviously involves more than just using a cleanser. I will tell you below how you can clean your face in a good way in your busy life. Look here for the right cleaning products.

Morning cleansing of your face

The morning cleansing is often 'forgotten' in the facial cleansing, but it is indeed important. During the night, your skin is working hard to repair all damage and produce new skin cells. This process releases a lot of waste, which your skin works to the surface to remove. Not such a great idea to apply your day cream right over it, right? In addition, your cream can also do its job less well. Isn't it a shame?

Step-by-step plan for morning facial cleansing:

  1. Grab a cleansing mousse (best suited for combination or oily facial skin) or cleansing milk (more suitable for dry to normal skin). So I myself have very good experiences with the Bijin Facial cleanser cream I talked about above.
  2. Moisten your hands a bit and put some mousse or milk in your hands. Massage this onto your face in circular motions. Concentrate a little longer on difficult spots, such as your nose, chin and forehead. This is possible with cotton wool, but I find this a bit less effective and I always get the idea that I 'lose' too much of the product in the cotton ball.
  3. Rinse the cleanser off your face with lukewarm water. You can also do this with a washcloth. Delicious!
  4. Cleanse with a lotion or alcohol-free tonic. Gently rub your face from the center out. With the lotion (tonic) you restore the pH value of your skin and the products you use afterwards can be absorbed better.

Tip:First wet the cotton ball you use under the lukewarm tap, squeeze it well and put a little lotion on it. This prevents the cotton wool from being unnecessarily filled with lotion, which ultimately saves costs.

This ritual for your facial cleansing will take you at most 1 minute. Lack of time can and should therefore not be an excuse! Clean skin feels so much better and your skin care products can be absorbed better.

Evening cleansing of your face

In the evening you need to clean a little more intensively. Your make-up, filth from the air, dead skin cells, you want all this gone so that your skin can carry out its repair and renewal process all the better while you are sleeping well.

Step-by-step plan facial cleansing evening:

  • Follow steps 1 to 4 in the morning, you can add a mild peeling to this ritual at most 2x a week. With this you remove the dead skin cells even better.
  • Clean your eyes with cotton wool soaked with eye makeup remover. With waterproof make-up you need an oil-based cleanser. Now also wet the cotton wool (squeeze it out well), add a little cleaning agent and place the cotton wool on your eyes, press them lightly on your eyelashes and let them act for a few seconds. Then swipe them down over your eyes and repeat until all eye makeup is removed.

Do not rub too hard, you will get wrinkles!

This ritual also takes 1.5 minutes at most, and believe it or not, but I really never go to sleep (again) with make-up on. Even if I am still so tired or if I had a nice party with the necessary wines. Clear skin just looks better in the morning (even if you have a small hangover). In addition, your clean skin radiates more and your face cream can absorb much better, so that your skin continues to look beautiful and youthful for longer. You will find a nice face cream here.

In fact, it is very simple and if you do this daily, it becomes as common as brushing your teeth. And you brush it twice a day, right? I am curious if you also have a ritual for your facial cleansing and how you apply it. Tips are of course also welcome!

Tip for when you have more time

Do you have more time available in the evening? Then use coconut oil in your hair to give it extra care. Check the link for the blog we wrote about it earlier. It's a miracle cure!
