Ring, necklace, earrings... Should all your jewelry match?

Rings, earrings and centerpiece

Jewelry is like makeup:we focus attention on the mouth or the eyes, never both at the same time. In other words, work your look around a strong piece:a big ring, a nice pair of earrings, an imposing bracelet, a bib necklace, a graphic watch... It can also be a together, as long as it forms a whole:an accumulation of fine rings on a finger, a mixture of necklaces, a cuff of bracelets, etc.

This centerpiece must concentrate the eyes, the other jewels serving as accompaniment. A large watch can thus be accompanied by thin bracelets, earrings highlighted by a discreet pendant... as long as the supporting roles do not overshadow the star!

Good space between jewelry

Do you want to wear several strong pieces, or play the accumulation? Save space! A big ring too close to an imposing bracelet will lose its shine, rather than stand out. The principle is the same for a pair of earrings next to a very visible necklace, or even a jeweled headband:if the accessories are too close, they dilute the attention and lose effect.

Better to choose a pair of earrings matched with a ring, or a necklace accompanied by bracelets! As for accumulation, follow the same guideline. Accumulate six bracelets and three necklaces, rather than a bracelet, a necklace, a ring and a pair of earrings. By stacking several bracelets, you form a cuff, creating a single centerpiece.

Matching rings, earrings and other jewelry

You keep the order, all you have to do is combine shapes, colors and metals! Here again, choose your camp:a theme to decline or an accumulation of bohemian-style mixes. For a classic, understated look, follow the style of your centerpiece. Have you opted for golden hoops? Choose ring or bracelets of the same color, betting on soft and rounded shapes.

If you prefer to try mixtures, start with an accumulation of various shapes, but with jewels of similar metal, color and thickness. For example ? Several pendants on thin golden chains, narrow stacked rings, or a set of silver bangles.

As for playing the festival effect in color, dare frankly, the mix and match does not support shyness! Choose two or three metal shades with one color, or one metal shade with multiple colors. In other words, gold rings, earrings and chains, with multicolored pearls and pompoms; or a set of aged silver, bronze, shiny silver and white gold with turquoise stones. In any case, vary the styles by combining costume jewelery and precious stones, woven bracelets and high-end metals.
