4 things to do for younger looking skin

Experts have revealed that certain daily habits are bad for our skin and cause faster aging. Here are 4 habits to avoid to keep our skin smooth and beautiful.

1/ Lower the heating

Infrared radiation, if too high, can cause damage to our beautiful skin (it's never too early to throw flowers). We must therefore avoid as much as possible bringing our faces near a source of excessive heat. Simply put, the hotter an object, the more infrared rays it produces, and these have been proven to cause pimples to appear. It is also not necessary to stop using your hair dryer or straightener:you just have to avoid the heat when possible.

2/ We don't chew gum anymore

Chewing (abusive) is to be banned permanently if we want to avoid expression lines. According to Macrene Alexiades, president of a laser surgery center in New York, "the movement caused by frequent gum chewing can create wrinkles around the mouth and even cause the jaw to drop." Who would have thought that our old teachers were doing us a favor by ordering us to throw away our chewing gum?

3/ We look up

We stop lowering our heads to look at our phone, and we place it right in front of our face (too bad if we look ridiculous, at least we will have a nice neck). A study shows that we lower our heads about 150 times in a day to check our phone, and the consequences are not pretty to hear:this causes the appearance of wrinkles and a loss of elasticity in the skin of our neck, ouch! So either we decide to hold our phone better, or we stop hoping for a text message from our Jules every 5 minutes... It's up to you!

4/ Having the right interior light

It's no secret that UV rays are bad for the skin. But what we did not know is that the LED lights that some people may have in their homes, or the lights in offices and stores, can also cause skin diseases and wrinkles of all kinds. The idea is not to go back to the Middle Ages and light up with candles, but rather to adapt the lights of our homes so that our skin is less attacked. We equip ourselves with low-power bulbs and/or low-energy bulbs, and we install a dimmer that will help us better manage the light in our rooms.
