Hair trend:sunny blonde

What is this trend?

We knew the lightening sprays, now the formulas are available for blond and brown hair, thanks to a more or less strong dosage of hydrogen peroxide, and above all a new galenic:jelly. "It's ideal for those who are afraid of making a mistake," explains Stéphane Pous, Garnier consultant colourist. “As the jelly wets the hair, you can see exactly where you put it. » Whatever the product used, the result is progressive:it generally takes 4 applications to obtain the maximum lightening of 2 tones.

Who is it for?

Blonde to light brown, natural or bleached hair (it does not work on colored hair). And the brunettes? We forget, we risk having red highlights.

How to proceed?

For a natural result, apply the product to the tips. As soon as we notice that the hair has lightened, we make a second application, by mounting the product a few centimeters higher (=avoids creating a clear demarcation). Repeat the operation once or twice. The product can also be used to make wicks, by only applying it targeted. If you just want to boost shine, use the jelly as a mask after shampooing, leave on for 5 minutes and rinse. Good to know:the most intense result is obtained by using the hair dryer (better than the sun). And we put the package on care because discoloration =weakened fiber.
