Thowback time

Early 1970s

In the 1970s, it became more and more common for women to wear trousers as well. When no skirt was worn, many women (and men too) opted for wide pants. We all know them! These wide pants are also called bell bottoms. They were funky pants that were almost always combined with a tight shirt on top. Even though almost everyone was wearing the same outfit combo, don't forget “you are the maincharactar!”

Mid 70's

The most popular item of the mid-70s was the jumpsuit! It is inevitable that the flower power jumpsuit is imprinted in your memory. From the craziest and busiest patterns to universal colors and from long sleeves to short sleeves to no sleeves. Everything is possible! What each jumpsuit had in common was that they all had wide legs.

Late 70s

In the late 1970s, women's clothing became increasingly baggy. Many women found that their contours fell off or that it made them look bigger. As a 'rebellious' action, women tied their blouses around their waists and rolled up their sleeves.

Take me back to the 70's

70s clothing is all the rage again! You see more and more wide-leg pants and wide skirts with tight crop tops on top. In the flower power period, cheerful colors were a must. Nowadays it is also a trend to wear colorful garments. From grass green, to ocher yellow, to neon pink. The more color, the better! Preferably all colors together. If you are still in doubt about all the colorful garments, remember this:“why overthink, when you can overdress”
