How to make your shoes shine without polish

Make your shoes shine without polish with… a banana peel!

To polish your shoes without shoe polish, nothing beats a banana! Simply rub the leather of your shoes with the inner skin of a banana. Then run a clean cloth over your shoes to remove banana residue and shine the leather. The trick is very simple and really economical. In addition, it is one hundred percent natural.

Shine your shoes without shoe polish with milk

To make the leather of your shoes shine, you can also use milk. Apply it with a cotton ball or a cloth, for example:this removes dirt, but also makes your shoes shine. Then let your shoes dry and then pass a soft cloth to polish the leather. If you don't have milk, you can also use a little softened butter or olive oil in the same way. The cleansing milk that you use in the morning and/or evening can also be used. These methods allow both to clean the leather, but also to nourish it in depth, which allows it to be preserved for a long time.

Shine your shoes with a 100% homemade shoe polish

Another solution to make your shoes shine:use a homemade and 100% natural product based on vegetable oil and wax. To do this, melt 40 grams of vegetable oil (olive, rapeseed, coconut, etc.) in a bain-marie with 5 grams of beeswax and 5 grams of carnaúba wax. Leave to cool off the heat then add 6 drops of maritime pine essential oil and a few drops of the dye of your choice. Mix until you get a homogeneous preparation. You can use this shoe polish for several months.
