Help, my tights are spun! What do I do ?

With the cold, it's the big comeback of tights. We love wearing skirts. The only problem is that very regularly, during the day, we notice that they have spun, giving us an absolutely unwanted grunge look! Something to put our nerves on edge. So, what do we do?

1/ Prevent

Already, we will limit the risks by betting on the good brands, even if it means putting more money on them, rather than multiplying the expenses on "eco" brands (which ultimately inflates our budget). Then, we favor thick materials (even wool), which are much more resistant. Finally, we adopt some habits:

Before using the tights for the first time, rinse them with lukewarm water and dry them flat before ironing them in the "synthetic" position to strengthen the mesh.

Imperative:wash your tights in lingerie bags!

To tighten the stitches, you can put your tights in the freezer for a few hours before putting them on.

Before trying on, moisten your hands to limit the risk of snags. And watch out for fingernails and sudden gestures!!!

2/ Heal

Too late… The tragedy has happened. Ok, so what do we do?

We had planned the coup, hey! In our bag, we have a spare pair! Oh yeah.

Spray the snag with hairspray thoroughly! The mesh tightens, the hole seems smaller and the mesh solidifies. So we cough a little but it's for a good cause.

We draw our transparent varnish. Are your tights matte? Prefer the top coat!

We put… strong glue or fake nails. But we take off our tights before, huh, just to avoid irritating the skin or having a little "skin peeling" session.

Wash with dry soap. Grandmother's recipe of the day:we choose a light dry soap for light tights, and dark for dark tights. Moisten and rub GENTLY. And There you go ! Thank you Grandma Biba!

3/ We assume

The grunge style, after all, is perhaps not bad… Huh? Eh ?? Huh???
