All about morphology:the guide!

Define your morphology

There are 5 different types of silhouettes. Women with a 8 (or X) morphology have a very marked and arched waist and shoulders in line with the hips. Those in A (pyramid) have a thin bust and wide hips like Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez! If you have square shoulders and slender legs, you are a V, also known as an inverted triangle. Many women are H (rectangle), the shoulders and hips are aligned, and the waist is not very marked! Finally, there remains the O morphology for round women. Finding out what your body type is is relatively simple! Stand in front of a mirror in your underwear (or with tight-fitting clothes) and notice which parts of your body are the widest and the thinnest! The ideal is to focus on the hips, shoulders and waist. We look at the contours of the body and not the volumes! No matter the verdict, you have no complexes to have and the main thing is to accept yourself.

Adapt your wardrobe to your morphology

Depending on your morphology, clothes are ideally preferred. Morphology in A? Focus on the upper body to add volume! Ruffled, pleated or jabot tops, large necklaces and breastplates will be your allies. The top is the dresses and especially the empire models. If you're in V, it's the other way around! It's best to focus on the lower body. The Xs are the lucky ones, because in general they can wear anything. Tip number 1 is to mark the size which is the main asset. So-called H women have a fairly square silhouette that needs to be feminized. Opt for hips or chest depending on your most advantageous body part! For round shapes with an O morphology, only one watchword:balance, whether in terms of volume, patterns or colors!
