Dare the red trench!

The difference of the red trench coat

If the beige trench is versatile and timeless, the red trench is much more marked. It therefore does not replace the basic trench coat, but constitutes a coat model in its own right, which you will not wear at the same time, nor in the same way!

Its constraints? The red trench thus requires to be worn on a monochromatic silhouette, preferably dark, unless you assume the colorful look. It is always chosen, or almost, mid-thigh length to avoid the massive effect of the color block. Above all, he can't stand excess, jewelry or make-up!

Is the red trench for me?

Do you like to shine with color? Stand out, or occasionally spice up a classic outfit with an out-of-the-ordinary coat? Even vamp your partner, for a special evening... The red trench coat is made for you! If you are rather shy, hate being noticed or struggle every morning in front of the wardrobe to match your outfits, on the other hand, avoid it. Finally, in theory, the red trench goes much better with brunettes, sometimes with platinum blondes, but rarely with intermediate colors that it tends to extinguish, from chestnuts to redheads or dark blondes.

How to wear the red trench?

To show off your red trench, choose an outfit in one color, ideally black. The red and black contrast is timeless, and unmistakable! Avoid complicated looks and favor clean silhouettes. For example ? A black pencil dress, black tights and black pumps for a glamorous line, or slim jeans, a soft sweater and black ankle boots for the casual look. Watch out for clothes or shoes that are too sportswear, which lend themselves less easily to the red trench coat.

Apart from red, what color for my trench coat?

A huge variety of brands declines the trench, each offering a range of different colors. If you prefer to avoid red without knowing which color to choose, bet on the hair...

Brunettes are usually best enhanced by warm colors. Try a mustard yellow, scorched earth, ocher or tawny trench coat, all the way to burgundy or brown. Blondes prefer light and pastel colors:baby blue, powder pink, almond green or pearl grey… As for redheads, they love greens of all kinds, blue or turquoise. Be careful, on the other hand, with colors that are too intense, which can accentuate the features of pale skin, whatever their hair color!

Are you looking for a colored trench coat, but without the risk of going wrong? If the flawless does not exist, some colors are fortunately easier to wear. Navy blue, camel or khaki are thus suitable for most women... except for complexions that are too pale for navy, dull complexions for camel and olive complexions for khaki!
