This year, Diptyque has created an ephemeral collection that takes you back to childhood with fragrances that have never been seen before:Epice, Hiver and Résine. The red, Spice, is sweet and blends cinnamon and plum. For Résine, the green is the pine that makes its appearance. Finally, for the blue, Winter, Diptyque imagined what could symbolize winter and materialize it in scented notes... We therefore find the smell of roasted chestnuts, wood fire and a secret recipe that evokes the cold, very surprising !
We particularly liked the collaboration with the artist collective Qubo Gas, who drew on the candles and whose work we find in this video. The collective brings together illustrators and designers with various techniques, able to mix very traditional pen work with techniques involving digital technology. They were chosen by Diptyque because their work is reminiscent of certain works by Desmond Knox-Leet, one of the three founders of the house.
