#ThighReading:the hashtag that will make you love your thighs

We breathe! From the hashtag #Loveyourlines ("Love your stretch marks") to the bare "real life" bodies of The Expose and We.WOMEN to the anti-guilt web guerrillas:in recent months, initiatives have multiplied to help us to love our bodies, wringing the necks of our complexes.

New example to date? The hashtag #ThighReading, showing "normal" women's thighs, round, thin, covered in cellulite, stretch marks and sometimes hair (we are not always well shaved, outside of the imaginary world of Photoshop) and of scars. And...it's beautiful!

The initiative was launched on Twitter by @princess_labia, a young woman who posted a photo showing scars on her thigh, inviting Internet users to reveal them in turn. Photos soon began to rain on the network, in order to reject the dictates of beauty and show what a real woman looks like.

And good news for advertisers:listening to women and showing them in all their natural beauty is not bad for them, far from it. As proof:the American lingerie brand Aerie saw its sales increase by 10% following the launch of an advertising campaign with unretouched photos. And knock!
