How to make a green argiel mask for the skin?

The basic rules of the green clay mask for your skin

The principle of the mask is simple:spread on a spread, leave on for a while and, at the end, rinse or simply wipe off the excess mask. For clay, it's the same in all respects, with the difference that you must not leave the product on the face beyond a certain exposure time, that rinsing must be followed by an application of lotion and that the skin must then be hydrated. The mask should not be applied to the area around the eyes, and it is advisable to give yourself a rest period during the application. Regarding the preparation:if you use clay in pieces or powder, plan to let the mixture "infuse" at least ¼ hour before applying it, and do not use metal utensils to mix. You can use ready-to-use paste, which is much more practical and quick to use, but more difficult to customize.

Prepare your skin to receive its green clay mask

To optimize the effects of the mask, it is interesting to apply it on previously cleansed and cleansed skin, with products adapted to your skin type, of course. Continue the preparation by offering yourself a fumigation, which will relax your epidermis and gently open the pores that you are about to unclog with the mask. A simple bowl of hot water will do, to which you can add an aromatic hydrosol (geranium, rose or lavender) or a few grains of camphor if you have stubborn pimples. Stay about 2 minutes above steam, then dry without rubbing. Your face is ready to receive its green clay mask!

The green clay mask

Your skin is normal to dry or sensitive:take ¼ of white clay to ¾ of green clay and mix everything, with a wooden spoon, in rose or chamomile water. Leave for ten minutes then apply to your face in a thick layer. For mature or very dry skin, it is possible to add a few drops of a precious vegetable oil to the mixture (musk rose or argan for example) as well as one or two drops of carrot essential oil. If your skin is normal or combination, proceed in the same way using only green clay. You can use another floral water, such as orange blossom or geranium. The mask for oily or acne-prone skin will be made with ¼ of rhassoul and ¾ of green clay, diluted in a hydrosol of rosemary verbenone or lavender. The application time of the mask will not exceed ¼ hour. Indeed, when the work of cleaning impurities is finished, the clay then attacks the hydration of the epidermis... it must therefore be removed first! Rinse, spray, dry gently, moisturize, and admire the radiance of your skin!
