What qualities do you look for in a shower gel? Let it be sweet? Does it smell good? Does it cleanse the skin well? And if he could do all that with the minimum impact on the environment, that would be great, right? This is precisely the challenge taken up by Yves Rocher who will launch his concentrated shower gel “I ♥ My Planet” in June.
The feat of this shower gel? It is ultra concentrated, 4 times more than a classic shower gel. Thus, in a small 100 ml bottle, we have the equivalent of a 400 ml shower gel, which can be used for 40 showers. Smaller, the bottle is made with 50% less plastic (including 25% plastic from recycled bottles) and takes up less space in the truck:it is estimated that 5 times fewer trucks per year will be needed for transport of concentrated shower gels. Of course, the formula is biodegradable. And in use, what does it give? We tested:a dab of shower gel is actually enough for the whole body (even if we have to admit that it feels weird the first time). The fluid texture transforms on contact with water into a light foam and the 3 flavors (olive/petitgrain, bourbon vanilla and mango/coriander) are quite addictive. Clearly, from the packaging to the formula, this shower gel has it all!
Yves Rocher Concentrated Shower Gel will be available in June 2017, at an introductory price of €3.50.
