In the United States, sunscreen comes in a glitter version

Sequins are trendy, feminine and a hit on Instagram. As proof, the two funny manias observed in 2017:one which consisted in spreading the small shiny artifices on the buttocks and the other on the tongue (you must also be careful because ingestion can lead to upset stomach, blockages and indigestion). They are making a strong comeback as components of a rather surprising cosmetic:sunscreen. The American brand Sunshine &Glitter has indeed developed the Sea Star Sunscreen, a (very) glittery sunscreen available in 3 colors:gold, pink and rainbow. It guarantees a very high protection it indicates an SFP (Sun Factor Protect) 50, that is to say that it filters 98% of the sun's rays. And all while looking like a mermaid straight out of the enchanted kingdom of Atlantis... What more could you ask for?

Glitter in many products

The brand has even thought of future festival-goers who will have to face mosquitoes and other unpleasant little creatures on hot nights by creating a 2-in-1 sunscreen that mixes glitter and insect repellent. Awesome, right? Sunshine &Glitter has based all its products on the famous little glosses:they are also present in a body lotion, a detangling spray, an after-sun and a lip balm. The entire collection is guaranteed vegan and not tested on animals. Prices range from $9 (€8) for lip balm to $19 (€15) for sunscreen. Unfortunately, the Miami-based company only delivers to the United States... We're not close to "shine bright like a diamond" as Rihanna would say (and on the one hand, so much the better, we don't want to blind the children by the sea), but we still like the idea! Don't you?
