Beauty:3 reasons to fall for the La Provençale brand

Do you know the La Provençale skincare brand? Launched last month, it is a small nugget available in supermarkets. 100% organic, it offers products for the face (anti-aging cream, night serum, cleanser, etc.), hair and body (hand cream, shower gel, deodorant), all made with organic AOC olive oil. Provence and offered at very low prices (from €3.85 to €14.20). We explain to you why we really like…

An organic and super natural formula

All La Provençale products are labeled Cosmebio and certified Cosmos Organic by Ecocert. The key ingredient of the formulas is organic AOC Provence olive oil, naturally rich in vitamin E and polyphenols which help fight against skin aging (because antioxidants). Depending on the product, the other ingredients vary, but overall, we are on formulas that are 98 to 100% natural ingredients... Not bad!

Hyper-sensory textures

We sometimes have a somewhat outdated image of organic and, let's face it, not really sexy:the formulas would be less effective, the textures would be thick... In short, choosing organic would be compromising on quality? Absolutely not. We tested the La Provençale products, and we can say that they all have very pleasant textures to use and above all natural fragrances (developed by the perfumers at Mane) which have nothing to envy to the fragrances of non- organic. Our two favourites? The Huile de Jouvence night serum which moisturizes and nourishes the epidermis without feeling greasy when you wake up and whose Jasmine &Mimosa fragrance we love, and the Nourishing Hands Pomade which does its job perfectly (even on very dry areas) and which offers a summer fragrance that makes you addicted...

Local ingredients

Organic is good, but when it comes from afar, it's not terrible for the environment... Here, the key ingredient in the formulas, olive oil, is AOP Provence certified, which means that the olives are harvested and pressed in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The producer, Bruno Theuerlacher, as well as the miller, Jean-Luc Vernet, were chosen because they know their job perfectly and share the same love for olive oil. And the local approach does not stop there, since La Provençale is committed to the crowdfunding platform MiiMOSA, dedicated to agriculture and food, in order to support organic farming projects in PACA.

La Provençale products, from €3.85 (soap) to €14.20 (face-body-hair beauty oil), available in supermarkets since October 2018.
