Beauty trend:skincare mists

Will spraying a treatment be the new beauty gesture that we will soon not be able to do without? In any case, this is the bet made by many brands that offer skincare formulas in mist textures. Do not panic, this is not an additional step to add to our (already very) long morning or evening skincare routine:the mist is used during the day, over makeup, and its main function is to hydrate the epidermis and strengthen the barrier function of the skin, put to the test by pollution, cold and heat, UV rays, blue light... Basically, like drinking a glass of water, we come to quench our skin!

Formulas suitable for all skin types

The mist sprays 15-20 centimeters from the face, so that the droplets are well distributed. In a few seconds, it is absorbed and the result is visible:the skin is plumped and we gain radiance. It's especially very pleasant at the end of the day, to cool off (especially when you work in an office with the air conditioning which dries out the skin)! There are different mist formulas, suitable for all skin types:some are hydrating (like those from Bybi or MAC) and aim to add radiance (like the one from a;t fox), while others offer enhanced protection against pollution (of all kinds) and UV rays (such as those from IOMA, Dior, My Clarins, Sanoflore, Chanel or Corine de Farme). Of course, all are formulated so as not to move the makeup (on the contrary, they allow it to be fixed a little better). However, when you have combination or oily skin, it's best to use a mattifying mist (like the one from The Body Shop), as moisturizing formulas tend to make you shine. What if you have sensitive skin? We favor soothing formulas (like those of La Roche-Posay or Glossier).

So, tempted to switch to the care mist? We offer you our tested and approved selection in the slideshow above.
