G-Star announces a limited edition of Elwood, its flagship denim

G-star Raw and the Berlin-based denim store "14oz" together present the limited edition of the brand's flagship model:the Elwood jeans. Since 1996, this model has been an integral part of the brand's identity. The cut is based on the "loose" aspect of the jeans in its infancy, but has been brought up to date with more curved legs. However, it retains the fork a little low, which gives a characteristic "cropped crotch" effect. The jeans are made of Red Listing denim, a very thick and resistant denim, which is designed on "vintage" looms and which is distinguished by its red edging in the inside seam of the leg, a guarantee of quality.

Only 100 pieces will go on sale, equally divided between the four colors offered, and only in the 14oz store in Berlin. However, the price has not yet been communicated.

Four colours, four eras

- The Raw model:The raw version of jeans, without any fading. The principle of raw jeans is that they will wash out depending on how you use them. A word of advice, for a natural wash, without losing too much indigo, wear it 3 times a week, and wash it after 6 months.

- The "5 years worn" model:This model looks like jeans that have been worn for 5 years. Snags, marks have been affixed voluntarily to give it a vintage side.

- The "10 years worn" model:After an incalculable amount of laundry, jeans that have been worn for 10 years will be very very faded. As a result, G-star has used less indigo and applied a pronounced washout, adorned with many marks following the "lived" of jeans.

- The "14 years worn" model:After 14 years of wearing your jeans, the color will not only have almost disappeared, but the fabric will also begin to decompose. The 14 years of washing have gotten the better of the indigo and many repairs that are created manually to simulate normal wear.
